SalesQ helps Shopify merchants build product recommendation quizzes, collect quiz responses, send email follow-ups, and understand how quiz activity connects with store performance.
SalesQ offers a free plan and paid plans.
By using SalesQ, you agree to use the app lawfully, keep your shoppers properly informed about data collection, and pay for any paid plan you choose.
We aim to keep our pricing clear. There are no hidden overage fees for quiz sessions, and you may cancel your subscription according to Shopify's app billing process.
SalesQ provides tools to support product discovery, email automation, and attribution reporting. However, we do not guarantee specific sales, revenue, conversion rates, or business results.
If there is any difference between this summary and the full Terms below, the full Terms will apply.
1. AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE
By installing SalesQ from the Shopify App Store, accessing the SalesQ dashboard, or using any SalesQ feature, you agree to these Terms of Service.
These Terms create a legal agreement between you, the merchant, and HelloDevs, the company operating SalesQ.
If you use SalesQ on behalf of a business, store, or organization, you confirm that you have permission to accept these Terms on their behalf.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not install or use SalesQ.
2. THE SALESQ SERVICE
SalesQ is a Shopify app that provides tools for:
Quiz Builder
Creating product recommendation quizzes with questions, answers, branching logic, result pages, and Shopify product matching.
Email Automation
Sending personalized email follow-ups to shoppers who complete a quiz and provide their email address, where enabled by the merchant.
Revenue Attribution
Helping merchants understand how quiz sessions, email activity, and Shopify events may be connected to revenue, where this feature is available on the selected plan.
Subscriber Management
Viewing and managing shoppers who submit their email through a SalesQ quiz.
We may improve, update, modify, or discontinue features from time to time. Where a material change affects core functionality, we will aim to provide reasonable advance notice.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND ACCESS
To use SalesQ, you need an active Shopify store.
Each SalesQ subscription is connected to one Shopify store. If you want to use SalesQ on multiple stores, each store may require a separate subscription.
You are responsible for keeping your Shopify account secure. HelloDevs is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by weak passwords, shared credentials, or failure to secure your Shopify account.
You agree to provide accurate information when using SalesQ and to keep your account details current.
4. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS AND BILLING
SalesQ may offer free and paid plans.
Current planned pricing:
Quiz Free Plan
$0/month — Quiz builder with limited quiz sessions per month.
Quiz + Email Plan
$19/month — Quiz builder, email automation, and increased quiz session limits.
Quiz + Email + Revenue Plan
$49/month — Quiz builder, email automation, revenue attribution, and higher quiz session limits.
Full Scale Plan
$99/month — All available features, higher usage limits, and priority support where available.
Product team note: Final pricing, feature limits, and session limits must be confirmed before publication.
Billing is handled through Shopify's billing system. SalesQ does not collect or store your payment card details.
Subscription charges may appear on your Shopify invoice.
All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise. Taxes may be added by Shopify based on your location and Shopify's billing process.
5. FREE PLAN TERMS
SalesQ may offer a free plan.
The free plan allows merchants to install SalesQ, create a quiz, and publish it within the limits of that plan.
The free plan is not intended to include all paid features. Features such as email automation, revenue attribution, subscriber management, or live chat support may require a paid plan.
A quiz session is counted when a shopper completes a quiz and reaches the result page.
Final free plan limits must be confirmed before publication.
6. PAID PLAN TRIALS
SalesQ may offer a free trial on paid plans.
Trial length, available features, and billing behavior will depend on the plan selected and Shopify's app billing approval flow.
No paid subscription will begin unless the merchant approves the charge through Shopify's billing process.
If billing is not approved or the trial is not continued, the account may move to the free plan or limited access mode, depending on the final product setup.
Trial behavior must be tested and confirmed before publication.
7. ANNUAL BILLING
SalesQ may offer annual billing on selected paid plans.
Annual plans may include discounted pricing compared to monthly billing.
Current planned annual pricing:
Quiz + Email: $180/year
Quiz + Email + Revenue: $468/year
Full Scale: $948/year
Product team note: Annual pricing, discount structure, cancellation behavior, and refund rules must be confirmed before publication.
Annual billing, if offered, is prepaid through Shopify or another approved billing process.
8. QUIZ SESSION LIMITS
A quiz session is counted when a shopper completes a quiz and reaches the result page.
Each plan may include a monthly quiz session limit.
SalesQ may notify merchants when they are close to their monthly session limit.
If a merchant reaches the monthly session limit, the quiz may continue to display depending on the plan and product configuration. However, features such as email automation, attribution tracking, or reporting for additional sessions may be limited until the plan is upgraded or the billing cycle resets.
SalesQ does not intend to charge hidden overage fees for quiz sessions unless clearly disclosed and approved through the billing process.
Final session-limit behavior must be confirmed before publication.
9. UPGRADES, DOWNGRADES, AND CANCELLATION
Merchants may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their SalesQ subscription according to Shopify's app billing process.
Upgrades may take effect immediately after approval through Shopify.
Downgrades may take effect at the end of the current billing period or according to Shopify's billing rules.
When a merchant downgrades, some features may become unavailable if they are not included in the new plan.
SalesQ aims to preserve quiz settings, result pages, subscriber data, analytics, and attribution history where technically possible and subject to the selected plan, retention rules, and applicable law.
Merchants may cancel SalesQ through Shopify app subscription settings or by contacting us.
Cancellation does not automatically create a refund unless required by law, Shopify's billing rules, or our refund policy.
After cancellation or uninstall, data may be retained for a limited period and then deleted according to our Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement, and Shopify compliance webhook processes where applicable.
10. REFUNDS
SalesQ generally does not provide refunds for subscription fees already charged, unless required by law, Shopify's billing rules, or a confirmed billing error.
Refunds or credits may be considered in limited cases, such as:
- Incorrect charge caused by a SalesQ billing error
- Verified extended service outage caused directly by SalesQ
- Annual plan refund terms, if annual billing is offered and confirmed
Final refund rules must be reviewed legally and aligned with Shopify billing before publication.
11. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
SalesQ aims to provide a reliable service for core quiz, email automation, and attribution features.
However, we do not guarantee that SalesQ will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Service availability may be affected by Shopify platform issues, third-party providers, merchant theme changes, third-party apps, emergency maintenance, security updates, or events outside our control.
If SalesQ introduces a public status page, service updates may be shared there.

Do not publish a specific uptime percentage unless monitoring, incident logging, and support coverage are fully confirmed.
12. CUSTOMER SUPPORT
SalesQ provides customer support through the channels made available on the selected plan.

Support may include help with SalesQ setup, feature guidance, billing questions, and SalesQ-related technical issues.
SalesQ does not provide general Shopify support, custom theme development, or support for unrelated third-party apps.
Priority support may be available on selected paid plans.
Support response times should only be published after the team confirms business hours, team capacity, timezone, and escalation process.

13. DATA OWNERSHIP, PRIVACY, AND DATA PROCESSING
Merchants own the content and business data they create through SalesQ, including quiz configurations, email templates, and store-specific SalesQ settings.
Shopper personal data belongs to the shopper. The merchant is responsible for how shopper data is collected, disclosed, and used on their Shopify store.
SalesQ processes shopper data on behalf of the merchant where required to provide the service.
Merchants are responsible for having a suitable privacy policy, cookie notice, email consent flow, and lawful basis for collecting and using shopper data through SalesQ.

Both links must be finalized before publication.
14. EMAIL AUTOMATION RESPONSIBILITIES
If a merchant uses SalesQ email automation, the merchant is responsible for making sure their email collection and follow-up practices comply with applicable laws.
This may include laws such as GDPR, UK GDPR, UK PECR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable privacy or anti-spam rules.
Merchants should only send emails to shoppers where they have a lawful basis to do so.
Merchants must not use SalesQ to send unlawful, misleading, unsolicited, or spam communications.
SalesQ should include an unsubscribe mechanism for automated emails where required. The exact unsubscribe and consent logging behavior must be confirmed before publication.
15. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree to use SalesQ only for lawful and responsible purposes.
You must not use SalesQ to:
- Collect personal data without proper notice, consent, or legal basis
- Send unlawful or unsolicited email
- Send emails to shoppers who have unsubscribed
- Collect sensitive personal data without proper legal basis and consent
- Mislead shoppers about how their data will be used
- Upload malicious code
- Interfere with the platform or other merchants
- Attempt unauthorized access to SalesQ systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or misuse SalesQ software
- Circumvent plan limits or billing rules
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.
16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
HelloDevs owns the SalesQ platform, including its software, systems, design, technology, and related intellectual property.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SalesQ while your subscription or access remains active.
You own the quiz content, email templates, and other merchant-created content you add to SalesQ.
You grant HelloDevs permission to use that content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the SalesQ service.
If you provide feedback or suggestions, HelloDevs may use that feedback to improve SalesQ without compensation or restriction.
17. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
SalesQ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but we do not promise that SalesQ will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every Shopify theme, app, browser, device, or store setup.
We do not guarantee specific sales, revenue, conversion rates, email performance, attribution accuracy, or business results.
Any ROI calculator, estimate, benchmark, or performance example is for general guidance only. Actual results depend on your traffic, products, offers, quiz quality, email strategy, store setup, and other factors outside our control.
18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent allowed by law, HelloDevs' total liability for claims related to SalesQ is limited to the greater of:
- The amount paid by the merchant for SalesQ during the 12 months before the claim, or
- $100 USD
HelloDevs is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
HelloDevs is not responsible for lost revenue, lost profits, lost data, lost business opportunities, third-party platform issues, Shopify issues, or damages caused by merchant misuse of SalesQ.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow such limitation.
This section must be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before publication.
19. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to protect HelloDevs from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and legal costs arising from:
- Your misuse of SalesQ
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of privacy, email, consumer protection, or data protection laws
- Your quiz content, email content, or store content
- Claims from shoppers related to how you collect, use, or communicate with them through SalesQ
20. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
You may stop using SalesQ at any time by cancelling through Shopify or contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You materially breach these Terms
- You misuse the app
- You create legal, security, or operational risk
- You violate acceptable use rules
- Your Shopify account is suspended or terminated
- We are required to do so by law, court order, or platform requirement
After termination, access to SalesQ features may stop. Quizzes, email automation, and attribution features may also stop working.
Data retention and deletion after termination will follow our Privacy Policy, DPA, and applicable Shopify compliance processes.
21. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If a dispute occurs, please contact us first at legal@salesq.io.
We will try to resolve the issue informally and fairly before either party begins formal legal proceedings.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled according to the governing law and jurisdiction confirmed in these Terms.
22. GOVERNING LAW
Jurisdiction must be confirmed with a qualified legal advisor before publication.
HelloDevs is registered in Pakistan, while SalesQ may serve merchants in markets such as the UK, EU, US, Canada, and Australia.
The correct governing law and dispute jurisdiction must be confirmed legally before this section is finalized.
Do not publish England and Wales as the final jurisdiction unless a legal advisor confirms it is appropriate for HelloDevs and SalesQ's business structure.
23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
For minor corrections or clarifications, we may update the "Last updated" date and publish the revised Terms.
For material changes affecting billing, usage rights, liability, or data processing, we will aim to notify merchants in advance through email, in-app notice, or another reasonable method.
Continued use of SalesQ after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
24. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the SalesQ Privacy Policy and SalesQ Data Processing Agreement, form the full agreement between you and HelloDevs regarding SalesQ.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.
Failure to enforce any section does not mean we waive the right to enforce it later.
These Terms do not create a partnership, employment relationship, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and HelloDevs.
