Pause, resume and manage automations

See all your automations, switch them on and off, send due emails now, check their runs and delete the ones you no longer need.

Before you start

–At least one automation (Create an automation)

The Automations page lists every follow-up sequence with its trigger, first email, stop conditions and status. From here you can pause, resume, edit and delete them.

Read the automations list

The Automations page: three automations with trigger, email template, delay, stop conditions and status (Active or Paused)

Column	What it shows
Name	The automation's name. Click it to open the editor.
Trigger	Which quiz starts it: All quizzes, one quiz, or one quiz and result page.
Email template	The template used by the first email, or — Use default content —. A +2, for example, means two more emails follow.
Delay	When the first email sends, which is always Immediately.
Stop conditions	Order created, Order paid, both, or a dash if there are none.
Status	Active, Paused or Draft.

Use Search automations… to find one by name, and the status filter to show one status only. The date filter uses the date each automation was created.

What each status means

Status	What it means
Active	Matching quiz submissions start this automation, and its emails send.
Paused	Switched off. No new shoppers enter, and shoppers who were part-way through stop getting its emails. Turning it back on doesn't restart their sequences.
Draft	Saved but never switched on. Nothing sends.

Pause or resume an automation

Open the automation
Click its name, or the pencil icon (Edit) in the Action column.

Switch Active on or off
Turn Active on to run the automation, or off to pause it.

Save
Click Save.

You can also click the status pill in the list to switch between Active and Paused. Clicking a Draft pill switches the automation on.

Send due emails now

AISalesQ checks about once a minute for emails that are due and sends them on its own. To send the due emails of one automation straight away, open the … menu on its row and choose Run due. Only emails whose wait is already over are sent. Later emails are never sent early.

See how an automation is doing

Open its analytics
Open the … menu on the automation's row and choose Analytics.

Read the runs
Active runs counts shoppers still in the sequence and Stopped runs counts sequences that ended early. The Automation runs table lists each shopper with their quiz result, Status and Stop reason.

Delete an automation

Choose Delete
Open the … menu on the automation's row and choose Delete.

Confirm
Click Delete in the dialog. Shoppers who were part-way through stop getting its emails. This can't be undone.
