AISalesQ shows the orders and revenue each quiz brings in. This article explains which orders count, how they're matched to a quiz and how the amounts are shown, so you can read your reports with confidence.
Only paid orders count
An order is credited once Shopify reports it as paid or partially paid. Orders that are still waiting for payment aren't counted until they're paid.
How an order is matched to a quiz
When a paid order comes in, AISalesQ looks for a link to one of your quizzes in two ways:
- 1
By cart
If the order came from a cart that AISalesQ tracked, and that cart was linked to a quiz, the order is credited to that quiz. The cart is marked Converted on the Carts page, and the products are added to the quiz's products sold.
- 2
By email
If no cart match credited a quiz, AISalesQ checks the order's email address against your quiz subscribers. If it belongs to someone a quiz captured, the order is credited to that quiz.
There's no cut-off date for these matches: a quiz subscriber who orders weeks later still counts for their quiz.
Quiz discount codes
If the order uses a discount code your quiz gave out, the code is marked as used. In the shopper's profile on the Subscribers page, the matching quiz submission gets an Ordered label. See A subscriber's profile.
How amounts are shown
- Revenue is the order total as Shopify reports it, including tax and shipping.
- Amounts are always shown with a $ sign, in US dollar format, whatever currency your store uses. They aren't converted, so a store selling in euros sees its euro totals with a $ sign.
- Products sold show each product and variant with its quantity and revenue.
